SPEED Channel's Pit Reporters to Use
Lista Cabinet;
Rolex 24 Fans Can Win Same Pit Cart
At www.listaintl.com This Weekend
LEBANON,
Ohio, Jan. 26 - Calvin Fish wants "just
some water and a cup of
coffee now and again."
At first Chris Neville suggested "corn dogs, strawberry Twizzlers and Red
Bull." He was just kidding though, and later said that actually "a cold water
during the day, hot cocoa at night and a cup of joe for breakfast" should cover
his needs.
Brian Till said to put him down for "the basic Powerade/Gatorade/water, with
maybe some Red Bull, and some easy snacks like fruit or snack bars."
The three SPEED Channel reporters assigned to cover the pits for more than
15
hours of live coverage of the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona this Saturday and
Sunday will get a little help this year from Doran-Lista Racing and its primary
sponsor, Lista, the world-wide leader in the production of modular storage
units.
Lista, of Holliston, Mass., has agreed to supply one of its high-density,
metal mobile cabinets stocked with supplies for the SPEED Channel pit reporters
and their cameramen and soundmen to use during the Rolex 24 at Daytona
International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The sturdy blue toolbox will be rolled into place at the back of Doran-Lista
Racing's pit area. It will be stocked with everything from "alertness aids" like
Vivarin to aspirin, adhesive bandages, energy drinks and snacks. There will
be space for notepads and pens, sun block and tissues. A couple of the team's
drivers just may add some Belgium and Swiss chocolates to boot, as they
regularly contend their native country's products are superior to the other's.
The
team and the reporters won't have to worry about running out of storage space
- the high-density drawers of the cabinet have more storage capacity than any
competitive toolbox.
So while Belgium natives Didier Theys and Marc Goossens, Switzerland's Fredy
Lienhard Sr., and The Netherlands' Jan Lammers do their best to keep their
Goodyear-shod Doran-Lista DORAN JE4 Lexus #27 underway for all 24 hours of
this
prestigious event, SPEED's pit reporters will be well-equipped as well as they
bring fans the action live from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday and again from
6 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. (The broadcast will end well before the
Super Bowl kicks off at 6:25 p.m. Sunday on CBS. All times are Eastern.)
And while football fans in Houston are doing their thing, Fish, Neville and
Till will do their own form of high-speed tailgating in style as they cover
the
pits and garage area at Daytona during the Super Bowl of North American
endurance sports car racing.
The Lista mobile toolbox, a $1,344 value, is loaded with great features. It
measures 28-1/4 inches wide by 22-1/2 inches deep by 41-1/2 inches high, and
includes seven drawers with 72 drawer compartments. The highly maneuverable
cabinet features Lista's patented PrevenTip locking system (one drawer at a
time), which prevents accidental tipping. The tough drawers each have a 440-lb.
weight capacity.
Taking the promotion one step further, Lista is also conducting a give-away
for the fans surrounding this year's Rolex 24. One lucky fan that enters the
contest at www.listaintl.com from Saturday
through Monday, Feb. 2 will win the
actual cabinet used by the SPEED pit reporters. One winner will be chosen at
random from all entries received. The only stipulation is that the winner
must
give an American or Canadian address where the cabinet should be shipped after
the race.
Although most of Lista's storage units are crafted to the customer's specific
needs, the SPEED Channel reporters' pit cart is part of Lista's "Quick Ship" line
of its most popular products, which can be shipped within two to three days
following an order. For more information on Lista's product line, see www.listaintl.com or call 1-800-722-3020.

The DORAN JE4, produced by Doran Enterprises based in
Lebanon, Ohio, is the most successful Daytona Prototype chassis. Terry
Borcheller and Bell Motorsports used one to win the driver and team championships
in
that class last year, and the Doran-Lista team holds the current class
qualifying record at Daytona with its DORAN JE4 #27.
