Hot News & Press from Doran Racing

Doran-Lista Heads to Mont-Tremblant

LEBANON, Ohio, May 15 - Next weekend Doran-Lista Racing will return to the
track where it set the largest margin of victory in Grand American Road Racing
Association history two years ago: Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant in picturesque
Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada.

Joining Didier Theys of Scottsdale, Ariz. behind the wheel of the Doran-Lista
DORAN JE4 Lexus No. 27 will be Jan Magnussen, who will be making his second
start ever with the Lebanon, Ohio-based team. They will compete in the Six
Hours of Mont-Tremblant, which is slated to be aired live on SPEED next Sunday,
May 23, in two segments: one at 11 a.m. Eastern and the second at 2 p.m.
Eastern.

Magnussen and Max Papis had the racing world buzzing after they crashed
together numerous times while battling for the lead at Homestead-Miami Speedway in
Florida in February. Everyone on the Doran-Lista team hopes for a cleaner race
and better results in Canada.

Magnussen was competing in an European Touring Car Championship race in
Hockenheim, Germany at press time.

Lead driver Theys expects this six-hour race to be unlike others he's
competed in for several reasons.

"It's a long race, but on that track it'll be kind of like a sprint," he
said. "I think we'll be flat out from lap one until the last lap because it's so
competitive this year in the Rolex series. The cars are very closely matched,
so even though it's an enduro, the pace of the race will be faster this year."

Theys said the weather is likely to also play a factor. "At Mont-Tremblant
in May they tell me it could be cold or warm," he explained. "It may be 55 or
it may be 85; who knows?"

Kevin Doran and the rest of the team will do their best to arrive at a good
set-up during practice, which begins at 10 a.m. Friday, May 21. An additional
practice session will be held Saturday, May 22 at 9:55 a.m. before the Daytona
Prototype class qualifies at 1:30 p.m. The six-hour race will begin at 11
a.m. local time on Sunday, May 23.

Prior to that the car will be on display at a press conference in Montreal on
Wednesday, May 19. Theys will be on hand for that event, and is also
scheduled to appear on the morning TV show "Cafeine" that day.
