Crown Royal Friday Report from the Glen


WATKINS GLEN, N.Y., June 10 - Doran Racing personnel continued to work on the
set-up on their Crown Royal Special Reserve DORAN JE4 Lexus No. 77 Friday at
Watkins Glen International in preparation for Sunday's Sahlen's Six Hours of
the Glen Rolex series race.

Drivers Matteo Bobbi and Fabrizio Gollin continued to get acclimated to the
track.  Both are making their first appearance here.  They were ranked tenth
after the first practice session Friday with a fastest lap in that session of
1:47.890 (113.449 mph).  They were 12th in the second session with a lap in
1:48.181 (113.144 mph).

The Wayne Taylor/Max Angelelli SunTrust No. 10 was the fastest car of the day
with a 1:45.097 (116.464 mph) lap in the first session.

Although all the Daytona Prototype practice sessions were completed, a
torrential downpour shortened the day's action late in the afternoon and guaranteed
a green race track for Saturday morning.
