Crown Royal Special Reserve Drivers
Bobbi and Gollin Hope for Beginners' Luck
At Phoenix Saturday Night

LEBANON, Ohio, Sept. 7 - Although neither Matteo Bobbi nor Fabrizio Gollin
have driven at Phoenix International Raceway before - or even seen the
facility's 1.51-mile infield road course - they hope to record their fourth top-10
finish in a row in the Rolex series race there this Saturday night.

With a little bit of luck they might even be able to duplicate the
pole-winning performance they posted at Watkins Glen, N.Y. in August with Doran Racing's
Crown Royal Special Reserve DORAN JE4 Ford No. 77.

The young Italian FIA World GT champions are also looking forward to this
race because it is the first one where the Daytona Prototypes and the GT cars'
events are split into two different races.  The Rolex series GT race will be
held Friday night while the Daytona Prototype race is scheduled to begin at 7
p.m. local time on Saturday.  The distance for both races is 250 miles, 166 laps
or two hours and 45 minutes.  Since traffic is a huge challenge at most
events, it will be interesting to see how both races develop when the two classes
are run separately.

The Daytona Prototype race that the Crown Royal car will compete in is
scheduled to be shown on SPEED on a tape-delayed basis at 4 p.m. Eastern time this
Sunday.

The races at Phoenix are the first of two venues for the Rolex series in
September.  The other is a return visit to the long course at Watkins Glen Sept.
22-24 for the Crown Royal 250.  The Rolex series shared the card with the
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup series at the Glen in August.  It shares the card with the Indy
Racing League's Indy cars at the Glen in September.

After the Glen only two more races will remain in 2005: Virginia
International Raceway in Alton, Va. Oct. 7-9 and Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico
City, Mexico on Nov. 5.  That means that time is running out for the two rookies
to get what they want most: a podium finish and an overall victory in the
extremely competitive series.

They hope to get one and preferably both at Phoenix.

The Daytona Prototypes' first official practice session is scheduled for 7:25
p.m. on Thursday, with another practice session slated for 9:15 p.m. that
night.

Daytona Prototype qualifying is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Friday, right
before the GT race.

The Daytona Prototype race is slated to begin at 7 p.m. the following night.
