Doran Racing's Jaeger Qualifies Sixth
Friday Night at Kansas Speedway

KANSAS CITY, Kan., June 6 —Brad Jaeger of Charlottesville, Va., posted
Doran Racing's best qualifying result so far this year when he placed
sixth Friday night in IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge
qualifications at Kansas Speedway.

Behind the wheel of the Lebanon, Ohio-based team's #14 Nissan NISMO
370Z RC that he co-drives with B.J. Zacharias of Cincinnati, Jaeger
was only 0.403 of a second off the pole. His qualifying time was
1:22.356 for the six-turn, 2.37-mile road course, for an average speed
of 103.599 miles per hour.

"We definitely have a good car for the race," Jaeger said Friday
night. "Everyone on Doran Racing worked hard to improve the car
throughout the day. We should have a good, balanced car for the race.
We'll do our best to run a methodical race and pick people off.  It's
been a clean weekend for us so far, and we hope to keep it that way."

Earlier in the day the team was fourth in the first practice session
with a 1:23.229 (102.512 miles per hour) and third in the second
practice session with a 1:22.066 (103.965 mph).  The Nissan turned 29
laps in the first practice session; 26 laps in the second practice
session and six laps in qualifying.

A BMW M3 led both practice sessions but an Aston Martin won the pole
in the very competitive, 22-car Grand Sport field. The top 13 cars
were within 1 second.

Thirty Street Tuner cars will be added to the mix for tomorrow's
two-hour-and-30-minute race, which is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m.
Eastern time.
