Doran Racing's Nissans to Start 11th and 18th
In Saturday's CTSCC Race at Road America

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., Aug. 8 — Doran Racing's Brad Jaeger will be on the inside of row six and John Farano will start on the outside of row nine at 1:15 p.m. Eastern time Saturday when a 53-car field takes the green flag to begin a 2.5-hour IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race at Road America.

Jaeger, of Charlottesville, Va., unofficially qualified 11th with a time of 2:23.910 and an average speed of 101.263 miles per hour Friday afternoon with the Lebanon, Ohio-based team's Nissan 370Z #14. He'll start the race and then hand the car off to his co-driver, B.J. Zacharias of Cincinnati. The field is so close that if Jaeger had been just eight-tenths of a second faster over this very long course he would be starting fifth.

Farano, of Toronto, unofficially qualified 18th with a time of 2:25.414 and an average speed of 100.216 mph for the 14-turn, 4.048-mile road course with his Tower Events Nissan 370Z #41. His teammate, David Empringham, also of Toronto, said Farano battled an understeer condition during qualifying but he feels they have a very good car for the race itself.

Farano and Empringham's #41 recorded the fastest lap for the team in practice Friday prior to qualifying when it was fourth in the second practice session with a 2:23.419 (101.559 mph). That was only 0.534 of a second off the fastest lap set during that session. The #41 was 13th in the first practice session with a 2:24.112 (101.121 mph)

Jaeger and Zacharias' #14 was 11th in the first practice session with a 2:23.884 (101.282 mph) and ninth in the second practice session with a 2:24.106 (101.126 mph).

The race will be carried live on imsa.com beginning at 12:15 p.m., and on a tape-delayed basis at noon Eastern Sunday, Aug. 17 on Fox Sports 1.

All times are Eastern.
