Doran-Lista Mid-Way Report

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y., June 20, 2:40 p.m. - Jan Magnussen put the
Doran-Lista DORAN JE4 Lexus into the lead of the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen at
Watkins Glen International around the lap 59-mark Sunday by passing the CompUSA
Riley Lexus #02. By lap 69 he had built up an 11.564-second lead.

He pitted around the lap 71-mark after driving for about three hours of
the six-hour race. Didier Theys is currently in the car. With the driver
change pit stop and one a little later to add oil on schedule, the team dropped
back to tenth, but Theys just passed the G&W Motorsports/Rx.com DORAN JE4 BWM No.
81 and is now running ninth with less than three hours to go. There are 85
laps in the book as this report is typed.

The event has been plagued by many caution flags so far, but the
Doran-Lista team has used those yellows to refine its set-up.

Driver quote follows:
JAN MAGNUSSEN: "At the beginning the car was understeering, which is the
same problem we had here in practice and qualifying. With so many yellows
the Doran-Lista crew was able to make some changes to the car and we did make
some headway. Right now the car is not great, but it's OK. I was happy to get
in the lead and I was able to pull away. Right before I came in I was lapping
a Porsche in the turn after the Bus Stop, and I saw that he was wiggling. I
was on the outside of him and I thought he was going to hit me. I got in the
grass to avoid him, and I got grass in the radiator and the water temperature
went up high. The team cleaned that all out during the pit stop though and
now the water temperature is fine. Other than that the only real problem I had
was just normal traffic. It was a long session though; three hours for me."
