Hot News & Press from Doran Racing

All Systems Are 'Go!' for Rolex 24 Tomorrow

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 4 - The engines have been changed and all
systems are "go" for the start of the Rolex 24 at Daytona tomorrow.

The driver rotation for the Doran Racing Crown Royal Special Reserve
DORAN JE4 Lexus #77 will be Fabrizio Gollin, Matteo Bobbi and Didier Theys.

In the next pit area the driver rotation for the Doran Labonte Racing
DORAN JE4 Pontiac #44 will be Jan Magnussen, Bobby Labonte, Bryan Herta and Terry
Labonte.

Theys and Bobby Labonte participated in a special press conference right
after the last practice session which featured some of the
championship-winning drivers competing here this weekend.
As we write this Magnussen is on his way to Camp Boggy Creek, a special
camp for seriously ill children, to do a little community service work.  This
arrangement was brought about by his tussle with Max Papis at Homestead-Miami
Speedway last year.  Magnussen, who lives in Denmark, has tried several times
to visit the camp before but his visit was always thwarted by scheduling
conflicts until now.

The drivers' meeting is at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning in victory lane.  An
autograph session follows from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.  The race starts at
noon.

Finishing is the #1 goal.
