Doran Racing Crown Royal Special Reserve DORAN JE4 Lexus #77, Update #5:
At 3 a.m. the #77 is fourth, four laps down.

At 4 a.m. the #77 is fourth, four laps down.

At 4:23 p.m. the #03 pulls into the garage for electrical repairs,
bringing the #77 up to third.  Theys is in the car when it moves into third.

At 5 a.m. the #77 is third, four laps down.

At 6 a.m. the #77 is third, three laps down.

At 7 a.m. the #77 is third, two laps down.

At 8 a.m. the #77 is still third, two laps down.  Bobbi pits for the crew
to address a misfire in the ignition system.  Sometime during the race the
car has also lost a window to one of its doors. The stop isn't long and Bobbi is
back underway.  Theys will drive next.

Doran Labonte Racing DORAN JE4 Pontiac #44, Update #5:
At 3 a.m. the #44 is fifth, on the same lap as its sister car, the #77,
in fourth.  They are both four laps down to the leader. Bobby Labonte pits and
gets out; Terry Labonte gets in.

Bobby Labonte:  "It's going pretty well. The car is pretty good. There is
still a long way to go. I'm learning each time I'm going out there and I've
missed a couple of wrecks when guys have spun in front of me. We'll keep
working at it and see where we're at in the last few hours."

At 4 a.m. the #44 is fourth, four laps down, on a lap by itself.

At 4:29 a.m. the #44 pits, dropping it to fifth.

At 4:45 a.m. the #44 pits again.

At 5 a.m. the #44 is fifth, four laps down, on a lap by itself.

At 5:45 a.m. the #44 pits and Magnussen gets in.

At 6 a.m. the #44 is fifth, six laps down, on a lap by itself. 

At 7 a.m. the #44 is fourth, nine laps down, on a lap by itself.  The #44
is the fastest car on the track right now.

At 7:12 a.m. the #44 pits and then goes to the garage area to replace a
gearbox.  The car didn't have second gear.  Magnussen was in when the car
stopped; Herta is in when the car is refired in the garage 27 minutes later.  When
it returns to the race it has gone from fourth to seventh place.
