Crown Royal Special Reserve Drivers
Bobbi and Gollin to Defend Doran Racing's Victory
At Watkins Glen in Rare Friday Night Race

LEBANON, Ohio, Aug. 9 - Doran Racing returns to Watkins Glen International in
Watkins Glen, N.Y. this week as the defending winners of this particular
Rolex series race, as Didier Theys and Jan Magnussen drove the team's entry to
victory in the rain in this event at the Glen just one year ago.

This year the team's full-season drivers are two young Italian champions,
Matteo Bobbi and Fabrizio Gollin.  They've had the added challenge of learning
new circuits and an entirely different culture this year as they compete in
Doran Racing's Crown Royal Special Reserve DORAN JE4 Ford No. 77 on the Rolex
circuit.  Although both are enjoying the experience, they're also glad that the
next race is at a track they've driven at before, as the series is making its
second of three visits to Watkins Glen this year for Friday's CompUSA 200.

Friday's 200-mile/82-lap/two-hour race is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Eastern time prior to Sunday's SIRIUS Satellite Radio at The Glen NASCAR NEXTEL Cup
race.  The Rolex race will be televised on a same-day, tape-delayed basis at
10 p.m. ET Friday night on SPEED.

This race will be held on the track's 2.45-mile short course instead of its
3.44-mile long course this time, but at least Bobbi and Gollin have a good idea
of what to expect since they raced on the long course in June.

"It'll be the short course, but we know the place; some of the corners are
the same," Gollin said. "We have a different engine now than we had here in
June. We must work to find a good set-up with this combination. In the spring we
learned the track; now we will learn the car with this new engine. Hopefully we
will do better this time because we know the track now."

Bobbi puts less weight on the issue of track familiarity.  "We've both won
races on tracks we were racing at for the first time before, so I think the car
is more important, and we have a good package," he said. "Watkins Glen is a
really nice circuit.  It's a lot like European tracks, and we both like it a
lot."

Practice gets underway with a one-hour session at 11 a.m. on Thursday
followed by another hour of practice at 2 p.m.   The Daytona Prototype class will
qualify at 3:45 p.m.  Only one more hour of practice before the race is
scheduled; that practice session will start at 7 p.m.

The schedule shows an autograph session on Friday at 2:30 p.m. before the
race starts at 6 p.m., right after NASCAR Busch series and NEXTEL Cup practice.

The Rolex series' third race of the year at the Glen will be on the long
course when the series shares the card with the Indy Racing League for an
action-packed weekend Sept. 22-25.
