Doran Racing's Kodak EasyShare DORAN JE4 Ford No. 77
Qualifies 20th Thursday for Rolex 24 at Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Jan. 26 - Terry Borcheller of Gainesville, Ga. qualified
20th Thursday at Daytona International Speedway for this weekend's Rolex 24
in the Feeds the Need/Doran Racing Kodak EasyShare DORAN JE4 Ford No. 77.

His official qualifying time was a 1:46.254 (120.617 mph) for the 3.56-mile,
14-turn road course.

He'll be behind the wheel of the car for the start of the race at noon on
Saturday.  His co-drivers will be SIRIUS's Harrison Brix of Campbell, Calif.;
Forest Barber of Fort Worth and Michel Jourdain Jr. of Mexico City, Mexico.

Although everyone involved with the No. 77 would have liked to have seen it
post a faster time in qualifying, it's important to remember that starting
positions aren't crucial in a 24-hour event.

"With the way the black flags fell in the sessions before qualifying, I only
got about four laps in before qualifying, and it wasn't enough time,"
Borcheller explained. "We needed more time to dial out some of the handling issues we
were dealing with.  The car was decent for qualifying, but I definitely wasn't
ready.  This means the evening practice session and tomorrow will be even
more important for us."

Lucas Luhr got the pole with a 1:44.009 (123.220 mph), a new track record.
The No. 77's sister car, the Doran Racing No. 78, qualified fourth.
