Heads South of the Border for Race on March 4

LEBANON, Ohio, Feb. 24 - After its strong seventh-place finish in the Rolex
24 at Daytona, Fla. Jan. 28-29, the Feeds the Need/Doran Racing team of
Lebanon, Ohio is looking forward to visiting Mexico City, Mexico for a Rolex series
race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Saturday afternoon, March 4.

It's the Rolex series' second visit to Mexico City, but neither of the team's
drivers, Terry Borcheller of Gainesville, Ga. and Harrison Brix of Campbell,
Calif., have driven the team's Kodak EasyShare DORAN JE4 Ford No. 77 on this
particular track before. That shouldn't matter, however, for three reasons:

1. They're both fast learners, and Borcheller has driven there in another car
in the past;

2. Doran Racing competed in last year's race at Mexico City with two other
drivers, qualifying fourth and finishing tenth, so most of the team members know
what to expect; and

3. The course's configuration has changed a bit since the series first
visited it last November for the 2005 season finale, so all the drivers will have a
bit of a learning curve.

Although the race isn't exactly a whole new ballgame this year, it is without
the ballpark.

"The way I understand it, now we're running the old F1 track instead of
racing through the baseball stadium," Brix said. "That should be good."

The road course was 2.786 miles long when the series visited it last
November, but with the configuration that will be used this year it's 2.5 miles in
length.

Practice starts on Thursday, March 2, with qualifying for the Daytona
Prototypes at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 3. The
250-mile/100-lap/two-hour-and-45-minute race is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m. local time on Saturday, March 4.

SPEED will broadcast the race on a same-day, tape-delayed basis at 8 p.m.
Eastern time. Live timing and scoring is slated for the Internet at
grandamerican.com.

Terry Borcheller:  "I had an opportunity to drive the course once a couple of
years ago. I was down there with the factory Saleen team for a promotion for
the Saleen dealership in Mexico City.  The owner or manager of the track owned
a Ferrari, and he gave me the keys and said 'Go have fun, but don't crash
it.' I didn't crash it, and needless to say I had fun!

"From what I remember about the track, it looks like it's going to be fun.
Any track in Grand American is fun because there are so many cars and the
competition is so close.  The biggest reason why I'm looking forward to going there
though is that the interest in the community and the fans are so great.  The
race is going to be a very big deal to a lot of people, and that always makes
it fun for us.

[In addition to the trip to Mexico City a couple of years ago] "We have also
vacationed in Cozemel and Cancun.

"Harrison and I are getting along great. I think the 24 Hours was pretty
remarkable really, as far as all the personalities that were involved and how
people got along.  It was amazing how well everybody got along, both with the
drivers and the team.  It was new for a lot of us, and we all got along great.

"I think I have a good friendship with Harrison already.  It's funny; he's
out to learn everything he can learn from me and I'm out to teach him everything
I can, because the better he is the better we'll do. It's fun!"

Harrison Brix: "I have never set foot at this track, so this is going to be a
whole new experience for me. 

"I have been to Mexico many times though for vacations.  My family and I
usually go to Cobel San Lucas, and I used to go down to Mexico when I was in
college. I don't speak Spanish but my girlfriend does, so she can be my interpreter.

"I've heard that the track is bumpy and it's easy to get yourself in trouble.
I've heard that it's slippery and it's challenging to get the car set up for
the track. The curbs are a lot different than American tracks too. 

"I do know that they've changed the track layout from last year; now we're
running the old F1 track instead of racing through the baseball stadium.  That
should be good. I also heard that the track is extremely fast in some places.

"I'm looking forward to getting back into a regular schedule. It's been a
long month since the Rolex, and I'm glad to be getting back into it again.

"Terry and I are getting along fine. The changes that he's requested on the
car have been a great benefit to me, and it seemed to go the other way too. 
We're very open and the communication is great; we've learned from each other
about different things on the track.  He's helping me more than I'm helping him,
obviously, but I'm really happy to be driving with him. We're both trying to
do as much as possible to help each other out."
