Going Into Homestead Rolex Series Race on March 25

LEBANON, Ohio, March 15 - Guess who is leading the Rolex series' Daytona
Prototype team point standings?

Feeds the Need/Doran Racing, that's who!

Only two races after Kevin Doran of Lebanon, Ohio and Forest Barber of Fort
Worth decided to work together for the 2006 season, their entry is the cream of
the crop among the 32 Daytona Prototypes that have earned points so far this
season in the series, which is presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve.

The Feeds the Need/Doran Racing squad would like nothing better than to stay
in the lead with another excellent performance in the Linder
Industrial/Komatsu-sponsored Grand Prix of Miami at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Fla.
on Saturday, March 25.

The drivers of the team's Kodak EasyShare/Amp'd Mobile/SIRIUS DORAN JE4 Ford
No. 77, Terry Borcheller of Gainesville, Ga. and Harrison Brix of Campbell,
Calif., are currently tied for second in the class' driver point standings out
of 107 drivers, just eight points out of first place. It's a long season of 14
races but it's definitely a terrific start for the former series champion,
Borcheller, and his series-rookie co-driver, Brix.

The team was seventh in the season opener, the Rolex 24 in Daytona Beach,
Fla. Jan. 28-29, and fifth in the second event March 4 in Mexico.  Borcheller put
on a stirring exhibition to advance five places in the last 17 laps of the
latter race, a drive that Brix called "heroic."

Neither driver had previously competed at the track in Mexico but that won't
be the case at Homestead.  Borcheller has many laps there and three Rolex
series victories in three different cars: 2002 in a Lola Nissan, 2001 in a BMW,
and 2000 in a Saleen.  Brix finished second in the SGS class in the Rolex series
race at Homestead on Sept. 12, 2004 in a Porsche.

In addition, Doran Lista Racing was victorious at Homestead in both 2002 and
2000, and its entry was going for the lead late in the 2004 race when it was
involved in an accident.  Its drivers in 2002, Didier Theys and Mauro Baldi,
still hold the Rolex series race record on Homestead's 2.3-mile, 11-turn road
course.

The endurance sports cars are part of an exciting card at Homestead that
includes the Indy Racing League's IndyCar and Indy Pro series and United States
Auto Club (USAC) sprint cars.  The unofficial festivities get underway on
Wednesday, March 22 with birthday cake, as Borcheller was born on March 22, 1966 in
Hialeah, Fla., about 30 miles from Homestead.

Rolex series practice starts at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 23; Daytona
Prototype qualifying is at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, and the race itself is
scheduled to get the green flag at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25.  Most of it
will be a night race since the distance is 250 miles/109 laps or two hours and
45 minutes, whichever comes first. Driving in the different lighting conditions
throughout dusk and at night will add to the challenge.

The race is scheduled to be broadcast on SPEED on a same-day, tape-delayed
basis at 8 p.m. Eastern.  Live timing and scoring is slated for the Internet at

Terry Borcheller: "I think if we had had a little more time at Mexico, we
might have even been better.

"Homestead will be challenging.  It's a tough track.  They have a sealant on
certain places on the track that gives you very little grip. It'll be
challenging to get a good-set-up there, and it'll be very interesting to see how we
shape up. It's nice to be in the team points lead but it's a long way to go
still in the season.  We'll just take it one race at a time and see how we fare.

"It's a very competitive series, but I was very encouraged by our performance
in Mexico City.  We were competitive enough to be in the top three, and I'm
very pleased with the progress we've made so far this season. Hopefully we can
fight for a podium and maybe even a win at Homestead.  We need to have an
incident-free race.

"I enjoy running with the Indy Cars.  I'm friends with Danica Patrick.  I
always like watching her race, and I hope she does well."

Harrison Brix: "Homestead will be a great opportunity for Terry and I to
cement our position as one of the top contenders in the points championship.

"I do like Homestead. It's the first track where I had some success in the
Rolex series. I was second in the SGS class in the fall race there in 2004.

"This year's race is going to be interesting. It starts at 6:30 so it'll be
the first time racing at night there.

"I'm hoping that we come out of Homestead in good shape and with good
momentum going into Long Beach. Our team has been working really hard to make our car
even better, and we're all really excited about all the upcoming races."
