2004
Finished fourth overall and second in the Daytona Prototype class in Rolex 24 at Daytona driving with Didier Theys, Jan Lammers and Marc Goossens.  (Didn't receive points because he only ran under caution-flag conditions, however.)

Qualified 14th in class and overall at Phoenix; finished 14th in Daytona Prototypes and 31st overall after teammate Didier Theys crashed late in race while running fifth.

Finished 56th in Daytona Prototype points with this limited schedule.

2003: Ran a limited schedule of only two events (one ALMS and one Grand Am) due to business committments.
Owner/driver of Doran-Lista Dallara MG #27; finished seventh in LMP900 class and seventh overall at 12 Hours of Sebring, an ALMS race, teamed with Didier Theys and Eric van der Poele.

Drove a Grand Am Rolex Series Daytona Prototype car for the first time in September at Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Finished fifth in class and 13th overall in the Doran-Lista DORAN JE4 Toyota's second race ever, paired with Didier Theys and Bill Auberlen.

Ended up 31st in the 2003 ALMS LMP900 national standings and tied for 33rd in the 2003 Grand Am Daytona Prototype national point standings

2002: Owner/driver of Doran-Lista Dallara Judd #27; Rolex 24 winner driving with Didier Theys, Mauro Baldi and Max Papis.

Finished 13th overall in the 2002 driver point standings for 2002 in the premier Sports Racing Prototype class of the Grand American Road Racing Association. Competed in three of the 10 events.

Finished second in the Paul Revere 250 at Daytona July 5 teamed with Didier Theys.

Finished first at Mont-Tremblant teamed with Theys and, for the first time, son Fredy Lienhard Jr. Helped set the largest margin of victory in Grand Am Rolex Series history.

2001: Owner/driver of Doran-Lista Special #27

Competed in five of 11 events in the Grand American Road Racing Association to finish 15th overall in that series’ national standings. Was victorious at Watkins Glen and Road America.
